IMO if ordinals / NFTs are going to exist on BTC they should be on LN but not the main network.

To my understanding they are only able to exist because of what is essentially a bug in the taproot upgrade allowing each Satoshi to be tracked to it's genesis block. This means there is no fungibility which is a trait necessary for a currency and was part of Bitcoin design and purpose.

It really is that simple. People don't realise yet, but they will. Probably after it's too late.

They aren't smart enough to lie so maliciously. People who hold higher up government / business jobs will almost always tell you something along the lines of 'its idiots all the way up'

Exactly my thinking too. History has shown that you can only print your way out of trouble so many times before everything comes crashing down. Just hoping I can have an off grid solar mining farm before we get that far.

The only thing that surprises me is how few people see it. Even people I wouldn't consider sheeple/normies think I'm crazy when I say things like this.

Maybe not now, maybe not this year but in the next 20-50 years it seems inevitable.

This would be great. I was thinking the other day about BTC blocks acting as a calendar, not sure how practical it would be. Would definitely be cool to say "meet me at x location at blockheight 778 423 to discuss z"
