I was actually wanting to pay my montly server billing via lightning. But for some reason i could not send it to my provider end.

Still wondering why they are proud having "mastodon" in their domain while doing something that is not even "mastodon" itself.

These folks could not minding their own business for a straight entire month without reporting some nuggets that is not even hosted in their server.

Most bandwidth is from downloading notes from numbers of relays. So say each 10 relays are being requested to return last 100 events to a client.

That itself including duplicate event is already totalling 100*10 = 1000 events being received by client. Compression still proved ineffective on handling this kind of buffers as some nostr clients still tend to be intensive when requesting events to nostr relays.

If nostr client still keeps requesting for another 100 events to these 10 relays, You already know what happen next.

I am not surprised when seeing bostr became popular.

I have the problem since the very beginning. Was once complained about it long time ago but people does not seems care about it until they feel it in their own device.

People only focused on the censorship resistant part of the nostr. But once they noticed their ISP calling them "bandwidth waster", they just became slowly noticing it.
