A journal entry from late May 2024..

' How does one describe in words boredom? Or apathy? How can a brain be so lazy yet never slow down? Why are bad habits so effortlessly started, and good habits impossible to begin? I need to start reading again - more classics, more scripture, more something! I need to write a small book, a tragedy of course with small town drama and exotic travel..The plight of America's woefully ignorant and indebted middle class maybe? Boring perhaps, that's indeed how you might describe it, but I still cannot hold this damn pen the same way twice when I write.'

My morning thoughts from 19 May 2024 ....

Wisdom and understanding revealed themselves to me today,

Birds were vocal in the new heat of the morning sun,

The rain has subsided for now and

young plants will drink up the surplus for roots to seek deeper parts,

It's a glorious light out that no other light can match,

Solid bars of light and shadow manifest on the table before me,

Alive in every shade, and inside the empty bottle,

The residue of leftover water droplets is a universe of stars wanting to expand beyond its artificial barrier,

A vase of flowers a testament to the life it can bring,

And all I have are these clusters of thought that oftentimes trouble me,

Yes I will begin to build the canopy today, maybe.

Paper money created literal zombies. Mindless consumers, drawn to sounds of life, where they find it - they eat brains.

They grow in number when a living human is stripped down enough to become one of them. It's often a permanent change.

They are individually unimpressive and numerically intimidating.

They are to be avoided, and can be easily worked around with a serving mindset, and iron disciple on basic rules around them.

It's a zombie movie. Less and less metaphorical as M2 rises.

Truths like 1+2=3 is pretty easy to agree on, but when we consider all particles on universe, all types of systems and people connect, it gets increasingly intractable for our mind to get the whole truth.

It's like trying to project a 3D globe into 2D: I'd you choose preserving correct distances, you distort angles. If you preserve angles you distort distances.

Another example: a cylinder is 3D, but seen by a 2D mind will be perceived as a rectangle or as a circle depending on the angle it observes.

Perceiving a 3-D object as 2-D does not make the object 2-D. That was my point, truth is not subjective. You are confusing perception with reality.

I think when we die, we go back to the source. We become stars or another part of the universe or we wait until we get reborn again.

I believe in karma and past lives. If we don’t fulfill our karma, we may come back later to set things straight. If we die feeling unsatisfied with our life, we return with the chance to do it over again, live life a different way and focus on what we wanted in a past life. We get a whole different set of karma related to it and what we might have done before could determine this.

We all have a south node that we need to move away from and a north node we need to move towards. South node represents a past life and north node represents the future.

I believe love transcends all, so certain memories or people we may remember, but we won’t know why. We may have also decided to meet people again in this life to learn from and love - like soulmates. Not only romantic soulmates but family, pets and friends.

Some people you meet and you just click with, like you’ve always known them, or they are just so familiar to you it’s scary. Some people are like looking in a mirror into your past, and you avoid them, or you feel protective of them and can’t figure out why.

All just my beliefs - not saying this as fact at all. We’re all allowed to believe in what we want, right?

I talk about this with my family/brothers sometimes. Been thinking about this since I was a kid. Occupies a lot of my thoughts.

Since you did ask the question, yes you are free to believe whatever you like, but please don't confuse that with truth. or reality. Truth is not subjective... no matter how forcefully people try to convince you of that.

Unpopular opinion, maybe. But, perhaps the notion of #bitcoin being 'generational wealth' is a bit far fetched. Obtaining a whole coin is out of reach for most people globally, but let's assume the average person could lay hold of 0.5. And let's say USD value goes to $1MM in 15 years (a gradual period where most could accumulate 0.5)... that's probably only enough to pay your debts and supplement your retirement in your lifetime. Generational wealth would mean dollar to day parity IMO, and doubtful this Gen X'er will see that. Thoughts? #nostr #btc
