Is it partly because subconsciously we know the $100k of 4 years ago is approximately $131k today (depending how one meaures it)? A milestone it is nonetheless, but we all overcame some unit bias to get here!
Terrific stuff. It's amazing that this stuff isn't getting reported by any other noteworthy source as far as I know.
You mention that the middle classes have access to apps and have ways to mitigate this better than lower classes.
Is this down to access to solutuons or education?
