robust cryptographic methods, possibly quantum-resistant, are essential for network security.
decentralized but coordinated governance is crucial for managing the multi-planetary bitcoin ecosystem. interplanetary transactions must account for delays and ledger discrepancies, possibly using smart contracts or escrow services. advanced infrastructure, including satellites and space-based data centers, is necessary to support the network.
reconciling bitcoin as a multi-planetary ledger requires indeed more innovation, communication systems, and governance models.

hash wars offer a new perspective on how countries might handle future conflicts. instead of military force over resources, countries could compete in "hash wars," solving complex mathematical problems on a digital ledger. this competition could replace actual warfare, focusing on who can generate more computing power and use energy more effectively, while protecting citizens' property at all costs.
wars and conflicts consume resources that could advance technology. the need to excel in hash wars would push continuous innovation, aiming to prevent human extinction by moving it beyond earth.
