I don’t think they understand how nip-05’s work for large domain owners.
The manipulation surface area is minimized in bitcoin. No solution is perfect but it is a step towards leaving the imaginary standard.
#Bitcoin regulated by governments brings nothing but fake safety. FTX and all the other fallen exchanges were regulated. Education is true scam protection.
The other way around, governments being regulated by bitcoin is the way. 🔥

I’m the Rickest Rick
Saw a guy in a full, bright red, head to toe Ferrari gear sitting at a wine bar (hat, polo shirt, jacket). He was keeping an eye on his McLaren which was parked in front. All he could talk about was his Ferrari, which was at home. Imagine spending 30BTC on a car you don’t even like.
As a true free market, poor businesses will periodically get wrecked and this is as expected. Bitcoin marches on with its preset incentives and we are left to maximize value return within this agreed upon set of rules.
The degens could be stacking sats instead paying fees for free JPEGs, but at least they are promoting network security by reinforcing the mining incentive ahead of the halving.
I agree, I think both single signer (Cashu) and multi-signer (Fedimint) e-cash mints will play a big behind-the-scenes role in how open protocols work.
* A Nostr client could use a designated federation to shard payments to content creators, note amplifiers, routing relays, and in the future, storage relays.
* Cashu has potential for delivering payments to new contacts who may be offline or not have a lightning wallet. They can collect from your mint when back online or when their wallet is available.
* Mutiny’s use of Fedimint for offline LN payments is also a brilliant use case.
I’m there is like1.1 million patoshi coins just sitting there…..
Also bitcoin greatest utility is as a high density map of the multiverse. Slide in, download the blockchain, note your branch point, do your multidimensional business, slide out…
Learned something today.

We are planning #Nostrado in #Colorado

Yass
#Nostr is the in-progress community-assembled open protocol
“The money will be used to rebuild Bitcoin’s ‘wizard village,’ which symbolizes the ecosystem’s desire to compete with other major blockchains like Ethereum and Solana. ‘We want to enable or introduce a new way of being a Bitcoiner,’ Wall said.”
🧙♂️lol
https://techcrunch.com/2023/11/16/taproot-wizards-bitcoin-ordinals/
“Ordinals have been given to active community members who participated in its “wizard school” or who are die-hard fans, getting tattoos or sending in videos of them showering in wizard outfits for the opportunity to claim one.”
But Halloween candy is self replicating all over the house. It can only be defeated through consumption!
"We are implementing censorship for your safety."
Sounds like government

I hear you on that but I also lost sats to a force close when testing mutiny 😂. I do like their idea for using fedimint as infrastructure for receiving offline payments.
Lightning is a wild environment and it shall remain.

Communism, light
It could be construed as making Nostr relays illegal in the US. Or requiring them to do KYC. Which I imagine is coming in some form some day.
