Normally they would remove the glue that held the brackets on. Since I had no way to remove the glue, I'm 44 and have stains on my teeth, including a front tooth (looks I have food stuck there). I did go to a dentist once asking to fix the stain. Said I'd need veneers.

First the bands began to pop off. Second I removed the wire and just empty brackets were tearing my inner lips up. At 16, I stood in front of the mirror with a pair of pliers and took off every bracket. I CRACKED every tooth doing it.

When I was 14, my parents took me to an Orthodontist for braces. I wore uppers for 2 years, bottoms for 1 year. On my last visit at 16, my Orthodontist said he wasn't going to remove my braces since my parents never paid the bill past the down payment.

So you can all get mad at me. But I haven't had a gyno in probably 15 years. I've only ever had one sexual partner for the last 25. Also a good chunk of that I was uninsured. Same with a dentist. Haven't seen one in 20 years. Haven't had insurance or money to get my teeth fixed.
Gyno calls, asked if I would like to set up and appointment for my lady checkup. I replied, no I would not LIKE to, but I HAVE to.
