#monero folks! Happy to be here.

Does the xmr.usenostr paid relay still work?

Primal looks great... But I'm uncomfortable handing off my secret key...

Can you tell a nostr noob if there are any alternatives that accept signed access without giving your key.

Taking the not your keys not your coins mantra serious!

#asknostr

Hello #asknostr!

I'm relatively new. Are there any good services to host my content here, like avatars, vids? Good paid relays?

Looking for recommendations. Please and thank you ✌️🚀

True.. I'm also not big into social media but happy to give this protocol a shot.

Nice to meet you

Hello I'm kind of new. Used nostr a bit a while back but got busy.

Good to be here and axtive.. Finally figured out how to create and link my lightning wallet to my client.

Amazing.

People... People are actually following me 🥲

At least I think so... Bots scare me 🤣

Let me know what you discover :)

I'm learning too.

Knew about nostr from almost the start but busy life took me away.

This is the problem people fail to see.

Democrats and Republicans are different sides of the same coin.

They continue, more or less, the same overall trajectory.

I need to make friends here... Its exciting and new..

Is it essential to pay for relays? What do people recommend?

What are good image hosting options? Willing to pay sats

If you're using nostr, you should also be using Linux.

People might be scared of it, but I've found it quite non-techie friendly, especially distributions like Ubuntu or Linux Mint.

One step at a time...

Capitalism eliminates many less effective operations.

Sometimes economies of scale works than having 1000s duplicate less efficient ones.

Its just that in capitalism monopolies form and we get enshittification

I don't know.. My mail comes on time and with no issues through gov. service but with private courriers it is always sketch, in clear of delivery, or late.

What I like about #nostr, Is that it reminds me of other open projects that are built on the #opensource ethic.

Start learning #Linux now. You'll thank yourself in the future.
