This bill is not okay and sets a very scary precedence. A minimum of 20 year sentence and $250,000 fine just for using a VPN to access banned applications? This is maddening. I get wanting to protect users from Chinese spyware. I do. I get the dangers of TikTok. I think TikTok should be removed and delisted from app stores. 👀

What I am absolutely NOT okay with is these overreaching acts of punishments. We are literally turning ourselves into the place that we're banning these surveillance applications from. It's not good.

If you understand the risks that TikTok poses then I hope you understand that Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and all other US Apps collect user data and should be banned from App stores
