What a couple of days in the 60s will do for the water temperature in the Pamlico Sound. Though, keep in mind, even at high tide, the sound is a good foot low right now. Water levels have been very, very low. To a point where I am paddling out there and have to get off my board because the fin starts to drag on the bottom. So, the temperature sensor is very close to the surface right now. But I'll take 60+ degrees surface temp.

Made a call on #aprsThursday using Pinpoint APRS on my PC, connected via BT to a Mobilinkd TNC3, that is connected to a Baofeng. Doing a CQ on #aprs to ANSRVR over the radio that bounces around until it hits a digipeater. #hamradio

The report from the whitehouse regarding their review of soloar geoengineering. Dont think that this is a good idea. Neal Stephenson wrote a novel about this (called Termination Shock) about stratospheric aerosol injection to reflect solar radiation back out into space. could be good for some regions. Cindy is now nothing but a disturbance. Could bring in some decent surf though. Wasn't bad out in the water this morning. Even with the South cross wind chopping up the water. The swell had enough size to get through the chop. But the wind from the south seems to going to be hanging around until Wednesday.

I have many fancy crocks for fermenting. But, I have found that these are the easiest to clean (not heavy, are rectangle so easy to pour out of a corner), they have a way to keep the product always under water, etc.
