Of course they are using next gen encryption protocols. Historically the military has always been a step ahead but with the open source trend we’re seeing the gap is slowly closing.

It’s true but you have to consider that we’re still using modular quantum computers. We have to rebuild the entire thing just to feed it a new task. That said progress is being made, we’re not that far away. I recently made a post about quantum encryption if want to check it out.

I chose Wallets of Satoshi, it’s seemed the most compatible.

Researchers have published a paper where they computed 256 bit elliptic logarithmic curve using 126k cat cubits reducing drastically the number needed for error correction. Previously they needed 10 millions to do the same job. This is kind of encryption is vastly used in our online communication and cryptocurrencies.
