This is not a domestically founded government, and the current ruling party, known as the Democratic Progressive Party, similarly fails to fulfil its party manifesto to establish a Republic of Taiwan. Taiwan's status isn't resolved simply by adopting the name of the old China for itself. I would urge the British Parliament to properly study history rather than acting like thoughtless politicians who are all talk and no action.
