S. of Mt Hood PCT Backpacking: Day 2

Decided to take some side quests today and explore the lakes. Little Crater Lake was 🤯 and had crystal clear water that looked blue. Hiked around Timothy Lake. So many campgrounds and sites, including FS disbursed camping on the back side of the lake. The lake is much bigger than I expected. Ended with 25 miles.

This image is okay but I'm still trying for a really good closeup of a jumping spider in my garden. I keep spooking them with my lens before I can get close. The good news is that they really seem to like hanging out on my zinnias, presumably because of all the hidey-holes, so I know where to find them. This one has really set up shop on this zinnia. I didn't even notice the web until I went to edit.
