I have leeks outside the whole winter and I harvest the last usually in March. I pick them when I need them and they are good. Leeks was something we used to leave on the vegetable bed during winter and I just embraced the tradition not giving it much thought.
Mine have handled temperatures down to the teens no problem.
Same here. It makes up for the last couple of years, at least for me. We also got a cauliflower last weekend. I’m not sure which I find more tasty cauliflower or porcini. Glad it has been a great season for you as well.
