Really enjoyed this conversation with Amjad Masad. We talked about Replit being a great example of a company that materialized from a founder scratching his own itch, how Replit is lowering the barrier to entry for developers around the world, how Replit is helping developers get paid, the emergence of AI, whether or not AI is going to kill us, the importance of bitcoin within the internet stack, and how Replit plans to implement lightning. I think I may have even purple pilled him successfully.

While I don’t support this, it’s kind of interesting for relays to have public reputations and are essentially followed in the same way an individual is.
When I worked on Stack Overflow, I had a hell of a time explaining what I did to my wife’s grandfather (a Wyoming rancher and WW2 vet). On the 5th or 6th attempt to explain it to him, he pulled me in close and said: “I’m fucking with you. But remember, everything of value comes from the land.”

My favorite moment in friend’s bitcoin journey is the realization that the Fed is WAY better, and far less greedy, than any shitcoin foundation. It quickly separates Bitcoin from everything else.
