When we use the term "SECURE", we are emphasizing the protection of users' funds. Centralized exchanges necessitate that users temporarily store their bitcoins on exchange servers, which, when done by thousands of users, presents significant incentives for these servers to become targets for hacking and the potential theft of users' bitcoins. Regrettably, this scenario of hacks and thefts unfolds repeatedly.

When we say censorship-resistant, we are referring to freedom: users' ability to voluntarily trade with one another without interference from a third party. Centralized bitcoin exchanges are highly susceptible to such interference.
