Spooks, mystics, and neighborhood watch can't get enough of me. Tending the flames of honor and truth, beauty and love. Life is so worth living. Walk with me... we're on a mission from God.

What strange times we live in...

Since I ran across this image ages ago, there's a game I like to play in my head: whether I'm in a building, on a highway, walking down the street, I erase all of the buildings, roads, and people and imagine standing in the middle of the underlying landscape.

I've started playing this game with the government.

I imagine the Whitehouse with all the politicians and lobbyists and erase the Whitehouse and Washington D.C., leaving just the people milling about in a field. I imagine Congress and erase the congress building. I remember seeing a screenshot of a post from someone claiming to be nonbinary, saying that they breakdown crying whenever they're in nature instead of a densely populated city, which is unrelated but hilarious.

Government is not an entity. Government is not a location.

Government is a group of people existing in space like the rest of us.

A large part of reason I did not attend any Texas Public Universities when I had the opportunity. Thank God if this goes into effect.

"The state Legislature last week passed a bill to terminate DEI offices at public universities and end the use of diversity statements in hiring. The bill will also cancel DEI training requirements that have become a form of indoctrination for employees and students...

...The law follows a reform model from the Manhattan Institute’s Ilya Shapiro and Christopher Rufo and the Goldwater Institute. The goal is to help states end racial tests and restore free speech on campus without infringing on academic freedom. The law would apply only to the Lone Star State’s public universities, which owe their budgets to Texas taxpayers. Good for Texas and the cause of racial equality under the Constitution."

Hail in Texas #grownostr
