We all have goals.
We all have challenges.
We all have pursuits.
We all have things we THINK are important to us.
That is, until an unexpected feeling enters our lives and flips those feelings upside down, making us reevaluate our priorities.
These points in life reveal the true challenges we must pay attention to.
These challenges test our inner most strengths and weaknesses. They cause us to second guess our mindset, our motivations, and our frame of reference for what we believe is most important in life.
When this happens, our minds tend to push these feelings away because they’re foreign to us. They’re out of our comfort zone and force us further from who we THINK we are.
But stop for a moment and relish in this feeling.
Why are these foreign thoughts and feelings entering into our minds in the first place?
Are we unprepared?
Are we looking for something more?
Are we experiencing something for the first time?
Or, are we being challenged with a feeling we KNOW will propel us further in life but we are scared to take the leap?
Our minds are naturally hardwired to prevent our bodies from doing things that will or we THINK will cause us harm and distress.
But only through struggle, sacrifice, and the ability to recognize these feelings and challenges do we find ourselves able to push through the limits of our own minds and develop the ability to successfully push through them.
The challenge within everyone’s life, no matter our paths, is to find those limits within our own crafted fears and concerns, and develop the ability to mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally drive through them.
For on the other side of struggle and sacrifice lies success and happiness in all things.
God bless.
