🙏❤️✨

To those who live in the US, I love the Dollar Tree. Don’t feel shame buying food from the Dollar Tree. I’ve done it. Don’t spend more money on the same items sold at a big box store. Most things are $1.25.

I initially wasn’t going to share the story because I typically give in private. But since I wasn’t able to give, I figured I will use it as a teaching moment.

You never know what someone is going through. You never know someone’s story. I didn’t even ask if she had a job. I could see in her eyes that she felt shame but was so thankful when I said yea I would buy her some food. Her whole face lit up with joy. So, it saddens me that I couldn’t give them the food. As a child, I experienced food insecurity. I know the look in a parent’s eyes when needing to ask others for help. The bullies who never seen a 10th of my success can’t relate. From being born into poverty to my net worth being in the top 5%. They mock on the Internet behind fake profiles. From being homeless at one point in time as a kid to working hard and buying a second house with cash. The bullies tell me to get a job. Disrespectful and rude for no reason. I couldn’t imagine how the mom I met today would feel if she asked for help. So, I ask on the behalf of others. Barking bullies can’t break me. I’ve stated on numerous occasions that the donations I receive are used to help others. Thanks to those who understand the assignment.

Just remember the following: The universe has an interesting way of humbling people. You never know when it’ll be your turn. People call it karma. I refer to it as the universe keeping score. I don’t make the rules of the universe. God sees everything and everyone.

The USD exchange rate goes far in South Africa. All of this for the equivalent of $9.

Today, I went to the grocery store to buy a few items. I was approached by a woman with two kids asking if I could buy them some food. I only had a certain amount of funds with me at the moment so I told her I could only get her certain items. She was thankful and said she would wait outside. On the way out, I noticed that her daughter asked another person for food and she was brushed away.

Items that I wanted I put back and decided to give to her instead. The checkout line was long. By the time I went outside, she wasn’t there. I asked the florist if she noticed a woman with kids and she said that she knew them personally. She said the mother felt such shame asking for food. She was a good person but was in need. I asked where they went and she said security made them leave because they were basically loitering. Begging for food.

Security told them they couldn’t be in that area doing that. I went looking for them. But they weren’t around. It makes me sad. I hope they were able to get food to eat tonight. I hope to see them again. ❤️

God will never forsake you.

God is great. God answers prayers. You just have to believe and have faith. 🙏

They’re not financially rich. But they find it in their hearts to show *me* some love. It feels great knowing they recognize and value my work. I do a lot of things offline that I don’t announce.

Quietly working and doing God’s will. 🙏

God knows their hearts. I appreciate the acts of kindness. ❤️

They all receive a special prayer. They all will be blessed many times over.

Many people are donating via CashApp. I don’t post every single donation but sometimes I like to showcase those who are contributing to the mission. Grateful. 🙌

Just received another donation. Thankful. 🙏

God knows my heart. So, I’ll just donate the T-shirt to charity. God will return the good deed in one form or another. I trust in God with all my heart.

I have no regrets.

Some will say it was money wasted since I actually bought the shirt and paid for the custom design. I didn’t order it. I bought the shirt in store and took it to a T-shirt shop to get it spray painted. Then advertised it on Nostr.

I could go deeper into the topic of *value* but I won’t today. I have a lot of things to do.

I initially posted about it in August. I’ve mentioned it several times. I gave it time. I’ve been patient. Almost 7 months. But no one saw the value in it. Interesting. Especially considering this is a place where people tout value for value. Bitcoin + Nostr they say. The irony.

🤷‍♀️

Looks like no one wanted to make the exchange for the “What’s Nostr?” T-shirt.

Welp, to charity it goes.

I don’t think Jesus would *build* the Internet but he might use the Internet as a way of sharing his teachings with more people around the world. Or he might completely avoid the Internet. Only God knows the true answer.
