Story Time: The power went out last night for the whole neighborhood. It didn’t come back on until 4am here.
For over 8 hours, there were No lights. It was dark. Some houses have electric powered gates in front of their homes. Folks were either locked out or locked in. Wifi was down.
For those without airtime and minutes on their smartphones, I was thinking that those people could have communicated over Bluetooth. Perfect use case for BitChat. Emergencies.
