Onboarding for new users is still the challenge. Users are used to logins and pw with another one of their accounts working as a backup. Also, understanding the benefits and how to convert over from platform to protocol theory, the average user online doesn’t understand. If somehow it was made to feel the same and convert their current user experience that might make them feel safe. But npub and nsec can be scary for those not already involved in the crypto space.
#asknostr when viewing a post is there a way to see what relay it’s coming from? I’m seeing a lot more spam posts… I’m tired of muting them all and would like to disconnect the relay to block #spamposts fucking with my #nostr feed.

Well it's mercury retrograde so no wonder why I am suddenly down a past life rabbit hole... But most don't know here I'm slightly an OG in the building training platforms and educating online entrepreneurs how to leverage social media online.
So for some reason I just watched a video I created 14 years ago showing people how to leverage their Twitter account and link it up with their other social media and other accounts (I kept calling them social marketing sites). (Originally I was teaching network marketers how to stop chasing friends and family and learn about attaction marketing by leveraging the internet and web2.0 and all these new connective platforms that were popping up, later it transitioned into anyone with a passion looking to be their own boss. A lot of them were baby boomers needing quite the hand holding and visual step by step instructions learning how to navigate the computer)

(my 23 year old accent is definitely a thing but dang giving myself kudos for showing up before most knew what YouTube or Twitter was)
In watching this, I am amazed how much these platforms have changed and so many of them are not even any longer around. (I used to have a training product on each of the main social media platforms at some point, Twitter, Facebook, eventually Instagram in 2014. My products required constant updates on the video training. The marketing training was evergreen but the features and interfaces would literally change weekly making my tutorials look outdated overnight. Eventually, I was summoned to a top of a mountain, I hit a giant reset button and I let it all go).
Anyways, this all has me contemplating on #nostr and how we are still so early. This is just the beginning and things and clients etc are going to keep shifting and changing most likely for a while. The online entrepreneur, influencer and content creator economy obviously blew up over the last decade and I feel like a lot of people are sort of caught up, captured by and super dependent for their survival on the centralized platforms. Needing to perform and keep keeping on. It would be interesting to see how things unfold either organically or by strategic design to eventually start a trickle because maybe there's a similar or equal incentive for some of these folks to join in on here... Or maybe we are in for a surprise and the cultural meme of the future is only an embryo seedling 🌱 still cozied up underground and we are in for a heart and mind consciousness expansive surprise.
In the last 20 years I've noticed that I find myself to be always on the cutting edge (like I end up doing things that turn to be a cultural meme the collective catches onto a few years down the road)(like after getting burned out building and cocreating a few different online business and marketing training platforms for entrepreneurs, and then taking a multi year sabbatical being taken on a spiritual healing and growth journey working with plant medicine etc, being initiated into my mystic shamanic energy healer path, to begin to witness a huge spirituality movement and trauma healing cultural meme riding the collective conciousness waves over the last few years)
So to me it's no wonder I am here amongst the tiny intsy bitsy 40k weekly users on #nostr and I am listening, I am watching, observing and my higher mind is working hard looking for some kind of answer that has to do with our collective good highest timeline forward. And with all these contemplations feeling quite optimistic about these here open source decentralized censorship resistant qualities of the protocol catching fire globally on this Earthship...
I feel like I've found home here and I am holding the intention and have planted the seeds and sent out and imprinted the prayer to God/Goddess/Creator that the energy that runs through me is fully utilized in this space, that the pathway open up where little to none of my life force energy is required to be spent or depleted in some fiat mine doing mindless meaningless dissatisfying stuff all for the means of providing provisions to exist and survive in this 3D reality (and I really DO need me provisions rn big time) BUT that I am in full service to and doing what's mine to do and being who I am meant to be in this here #freedomtech movement whose legacy of soul liberation on all levels at the core will be felt through the ages, 7 generations forward and beyond.
Anyhow. Slightly cringy with this lil ol video that'd probably get hidden here shortly as I keep cleaning the slate and purifying the field and the birthing chamber of what is now looking to take residency through me and on my platforms.

Anyone know of an app or a method of accessing urls that need a Login?
Since moving to #nostr and deleting my other accounts my family & friends send me videos / articles from Facebook Instagram, TikTok, etc., that I’m unable to access or view now. No big deal I know but sometimes it’s worth the view!
Maybe one day they will see or understand the vision NOSTR offers but until then any work arounds?
