If Carney gets in, Alberta votes to leave. If Alberta leaves, Quebec leaves. No more ๐Ÿ‡จ๐Ÿ‡ฆ Canada.

Boomers are sleepwalking into voting for the destruction of their country. Again.

Polieve would make a deal with trump and talk the provinces down from the ledge.

Are there still places with vibes anymore? Or did the internet kind of kill it?

I feel like digital spaces have vibes. Nostr has a vibe for sure, but everywhere I go (in America at least) feels flat, steril and homogenous now.

People like to pretend otherwise, romanticizing local charm and itโ€™s fun to do so, but in reality there is no meaningful difference between New York, LA, Chicago, Austin, Miami etcโ€ฆ

The differences feel increasingly superficial. Miami with its neon pink and bad Latin art. New York with its identical minimalist cafes selling identical oat lattes. These arenโ€™t cities anymore, theyโ€™re brands. โ€œKeep Austin Weirdโ€ feels less like the rallying cry of a bohemian collective and more like a safe corporate brand slogan.

It wasnโ€™t always like this. Cities used to incubate true subcultures that couldnโ€™t thrive anywhere else. Seattle once had grunge music emerging organically from local clubs, distinct in sound and attitude. Detroit was a birthplace for techno and industrial grit that couldnโ€™t have been manufactured. New Orleans had jazz clubs and vibrant local traditions that permeated every street corner authentically. Before the internet collapsed distances, you could sense deep authenticity upon arriving somewhere new. The vibe wasnโ€™t something designed by marketing departments; it was organically woven into the streets, the people, the music, and local myths.

Now, vibes feel engineered and commoditized, reduced to Instagrammable moments and easily replicable aesthetics. I once watched from the balcony of my hotel in Nashville as 200 women waited in line to take the same stupid picture with the same stupid set of angel wings.

Digital spaces, ironically, have become refuges of uniqueness, fostering communities unburdened by geographical homogenization. Platforms like nostr host unique niche communities, from hyper-specific gaming bitcoin cultural milieu to obscure philosophical discussions, that retain genuinely distinctive vibes.

Perhaps weโ€™re now entering a strange inversion, where real-world spaces chase digital popularity, adopting blandness to maximize broad appeal.

In this inversion, digital worlds might become the primary spaces where unique vibes survive, thrive, and multiplyโ€”leaving our physical world as little more than a flattened reflection of what used to be.

Nostr is where the vibes are at.

Ya so this is a classic red flag of something being wrong with your account. Assume itโ€™s compromised. Disconnect any auto deposits you have to coinbase from your bank account and begin the process of migrating things to cold storage and using non custodial platforms like bitcoin well. Coinbase is a notorious honeypot for accounts getting compromised for one reason or the other. The email you got could also have been malicious somehow. Please be careful and at least self custody in cold storage your bitcoin. Coinbase is generally terrible and has horrible support too.

YOUโ€™RE NOT BULLISH ENOUGH. THE CAPS WILL FLOW

Nostr still working ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€

A Bitcoin-Only USA Strategic Reserve is Right

Trump Can Make America Great with The 21st Century Wealth Strategy

A Bitcoin-only reserve would be the ideal strategy for America to prosper and thrive in the 21st century and beyond. But this requires a deep understanding of what is actually happening with Bitcoin, โ€œdigital assetsโ€, and the Dollar.

Only a few nations have gone down this path, Bhuton and El Salvador for example. Both hold Bitcoin-Only in a strategic reserve. They have profited immensely from doing so.

But their performance would have suffered if they included altcoins in their strategic reserves.
