Here’s mine:
May 2009 - my sister’s then bf told us he heard about something called Bitcoin on Reddit. 🙄 I disliked him and ignored anything he said. Didn’t give it a second thought. I was off to grad school. ✌🏻
June 2014 - coworker brings up Bitcoin at the office and we look it up online. We both kind of stare at the price and laugh in disbelief. That’s cool - then I just kept on with my life.
December 2017 - same coworker texts me to ask if I’d seen the price of #Bitcoin on the news. I hadn’t. I go online to look it up. (Shoot! It’s over $10k - should’ve bought some in 2014. I guess I missed the boat.)
Summer 2020 - I was working from home. The world was closed, so I had a lot of time to listen to podcasts and watch YouTube videos. I came across #Bitcoin again. I paid closer attention this time around.
Fall 2020 - I finally had the courage to actually buy some #Bitcoin. Not much but just to test the waters.
Early to Mid 2021 - “gradually then suddenly” 🫠
I immediately regretted not buying more #Bitcoin in 2020. This is when I got major #FOMO and finally got serious about committing to a #BTC DCA.
Summer 2023 - unfortunately, I lost my private keys in a boating accident off the pacific coast. RIP 🪦 #Bitcoin stack 🥲 I’m thankful for the journey.
