The first time I heard of Trump, back when he ran in 2016, I thought he would be a great option for America. A great way to shake things up and break the political under the table deals tha have been going on for years and years!

One summer, I got a call out of the blue, from someone asking if I was still looking for a job and if I wanted to work at their resort hotel as a receptionist.
I was taken aback because I hadn't applied. We talked for a bit and then she said I could start Monday! I paused her and asked for some more information, as I still wasn't sure what she was offering me!
She clarified some things and then we ended the call.
I later found out that she had requested an ad be put up for the summer jobs she was offering, but the ad hadn't been posted, so she was scrambling to get staff. She'd gotten my contact from a different part of the resort and saw that I had a tiny bit of reception experience and called me.
I worked there for 2 summers and part-time during the winter In between.
My school class joined a soccer tournament when I was 10-11. I didn't usually do soccer, so I was a bit fuzzy on the rules. In the finals I, a back, found myself with the ball approaching their goal, passing everyone. I looked around for someoen to kick it to, as I wasn't supposed to be in the front, when their goaly also passed me?!
Since there was no one to kick it to, and no one even seemed to know I had the ball, I kicked it into the goal, not knowing if it was okay for me to do so, but figuring I might as well, and it counted! 😃
We ended up getting bronze medals, became a team we had kicked out earlier had been swapped back in due to some other team dropping out. But hey, I made a goal, and got a medal!! 😎

America is hot right now, but we found a place that's in the 60s... only issue is that it's also constant fog/overcast so it's depressing! But at least it's not hot and depressing 🤣
So, the US government want taxes, but then they give tax money to the illegals, and those of us who try to join legally are put on hold indefinitely, without being allowed to work unless we came on a work Visa (which I did not)
Unemployment is actually way worse than losing the love of one's life, and takes way longer to recover from.
If it wasn't for writing books, I'm not sure how I would have survived the last 2 years!
