"The more Bitcoin is adopted by individuals, the less power nation states have to stop young or inexperienced people, especially young men, from entering the market to get jobs in order to gain the skills necessary on the job that will gradually increase the amount of money they can generate. "

An excerpt from Chapter 4, Benefits of Bitcoin by Levi M. Johnson, where he explains why minimum wage is actually really bad, and how bitcoin fixes this.

My husband knows stuff! 😎

The other night we got some food at a WinCo (24h grocery store) and my husband said, "It'll be great when they start taking bitcoin here", to which the silver haired lady responded, yes.

Apparently she not only knew about it, but had some, and when my husband asked if it was self custody, she confidently replied, Yes!

We were both kind of chocked and pleasantly surprised, as most older people are not that aware, and even if they know some, they usually ask what self custody even means.

This lady rocks!! 😎

Came across some old photos of my cats. I didn't realize I'd taking this super cool profile picture.

Meet Maja, the definition if a scaredy cat.

She ran out of lives many years ago now, but she is not forgotten 😊

Just came across a video I took one of my cats climbing up a metal ladder after seeing a small dog inside her house! Oh the glare she game as as she turned around and went back outside before climbing up on the porch roof! 🀣

I would share it but I'm not sure if I can share videos on Nostr, so just imagine the white belly of a cat facing you halfway up a ladder, as the back paws are on a lower step and the front paws are on the step above, her calico face turned towards you with a glare that makes the hair stand in the back of your neck, before she continues up the 2nd half of the metal ladder.

Since it's in California, I wonder if any one of them would even be punished if they released the Epstein list and they were all on there. πŸ™„

There are enough people elsewhere who can make movies now, so I hope they get them all the then we can start clean. It would be like a harvest with only a few left standing, but that'd be okay. Angel Studios are making good movies, a lot of independent people are making good movies. Maybe they could have used the argument that they didn't wanna interrupt the whole movie industry before, but bot anymore. Put good indie movies in the theaters that people actually wanna watch instead of garbage like the new snow white. It'll be worth it.

It would save so many people's lives if they wanna act but don't need to go through Hollywood and the perversion they require of a lot of new actors/actresses.

It can be well worth some exploration, at least the exploration of what it could look like if there were no lies holding you back, and then find the name of those lies and remove them.

Like those who believe they'll never get zapped. Well, this is Nostr, as long as you have a wallet attached to your account, and write something, the possibility opens up. But if you believe you'll never get zapped, and therefore never attach a wallet, the lie you're believing will be self evident.

Yep, it does. Sure, sometimes there's a step in between, like when you take a breath, the breath doesn't fix the lack of oxygen, but breathing in oxygen fixes it. So, in her case, bitcoin would be the tool that will make the thing she wants to do possible.

What lie are you currently believing that is holding you back from what you want?

I guess as long as no one eats it it'll be fine πŸ˜‡πŸ˜ŽπŸ€£πŸ€£πŸ€£

Translated some more of my husband's book, Benefits of Bitcoin.

Then I started working on our joint book again, as I'm trying to learn how to write nonfiction, and actually stay on topic πŸ˜…πŸ˜¬ maybe the 10th attempt will be the winner... 🀣 (I'm on 3 now)

Oh, wait, this isn't one of our book projects! πŸ€”πŸ€£πŸ€£ ok Nostr, I'll be back later.

Agreed, get rid of them. Once I own it, it's mine. If it goes up in value, I don't want to be robbed of fictional increased value. It's the same with bitcoin. As long as I hold it, I'm not paying any taxes regardless if it goes up or down, because I still own it. If I sell, then that's a different topic, but not every year I own it!

Personally I think local governments should just bitcoin mine or bring actual value that the population wants to help with, and then they get to deal with it as it comes instead of stealing it from everyone.

How about some go fund my type projects that the population gets to vote on if they actually want to support or not? Like, fix the road with potholes or hold classes for gender confusion? That money would quickly be allocated to real things rather than bad things. And the locals would have way more say!

Is this newer? If so I'll tell him about it.

He tried a few different things like 1-2 years ago but wasn't able to get things to work, or they wanted monthly payments for the paywall, regardless of if it was used, so it wasn't feasible.

I'd love to get something working were we didn't need to be personally involved!!

My husband looked into something like this for our books, but making a bitcoin paywall to sell our ebooks wasn't that easy. If someone creates a plug and play paywall, that'd start changing things. Now we just sell them though Nostr DMs πŸ˜…

Yes!!! It's so sad.

Most people also miss the part that it's not just the money printer that creates inflation. Everytime we borrow money from a bank, that bank is creating new money. They can 25x anything they actually have, which means if everyone stopped taking it loans, and paid back all the loans they currently have, prices would drop 25x.

Not all at once and for all items, but over all, total spending would be cut.

The government isn't the only problem, private people who borrow are also part of the problem.

This is why we bitcoin and pay everything in cash.

This is part of why I like bitcoin:

I can send it across the globe, instantly!

It doesn't have a price cap for how much or little I wanna send. 1 sat or 100 bitcoin, no one butts in.

I can get fiat instantly if a need arises, at any time of day.

I don't need to verify my identity to use it.

There's this awesome decentralized social media network that uses it to show value for value. (Not sure you've heard of it, it's called Nostr 😎🀣)

It brings hope because even if it's volatile, in the long run it always goes up!

People who are into bitcoin are hope filled, human loving, legacy creating, free thinkers, and genuinely awesome people. I'd be thrilled hanging out with any of them.

Bitcoiners don't just understand bitcoin, they understand reality.

A mosquito just flew over our heads, making the iconic mosquito noise, so I killed it.

Then I remembered how I dreamt that we were visiting Sweden, and I killed like 5 mosquitoes as we were standing outside talking.

Now I'm wondering if I was hearing the real mosquito through my dream, because as I killed it, my hands got covered in blood 😬🀣

He was surprised I got it. 😎 I never watched the movie, but I saw some trailer's for Brave, and her red wild and curly hair.
