In order for the banks to deal with the 600 billion dollar hole on their balance sheets due to higher for longer interest rates, they will look to build out DEFI (I would call it CFI though, centralized financing). This means that society will spin in place for longer since they didn't move to Bitcoin as the solution. Maybe that will come after this next misstep by the banks.
