Been back on twxtter for a few days. Had almost forgotten how crazy of a place it is.
One theory I have about x app and online interactions in general:
You know how ppl like to say “oh but you wouldn’t say that thing to a person in real life”?
Well, that’s the genius part about online. Losing the physical presence and the boundaries you can actually learn about the true feelings and thoughts of a person.
IRL we are more guarded and conscious.
Online, behind the screen/shield the subconscious is revealed much clearer cos the filter for thoughts is less dense.
I kinda like that I can learn how crazy and neurotic modern day ppl actually are cos meeting them IRL most probably would never show that side of a person.
You can heal only what’s revealed ✌️
P.s. also the crazy ones are usually the loudest on the platforms 😁
