GM! Doc I need some #DocChain advice. I haven't ran a 5K in over two weeks 😭😭😭 I hurt my knee somehow. I don't remember twisting it or doing anything that hurt it. Two+ weeks ago it felt different laying in bed and the next morning it hurt bit. I ran a 5K that day. It hurt more that night. Next morning it was still not feeling 100%, but after moving around it was fine I thought. I could run without issue so I ran another 5K. That afternoon my knee really hurt and became really stiff. It was noticably bad. I haven't ran since. It doesn't hurt now, but it's a bit uncomfortable and gets stiff if I don't move it. It's odd. It feels like there's something stuck or pressure under the knee cap or on the side of my knee. Katie wants me to go get X-rays. I assumed I'm old and somehow hurt myself and it would be fine in a couple weeks. Thoughts? 😂👀

Felt something similar when I started running. It was runner’s knee. Fixed it by not stopping running and stretching a lot, theragunning and doing strength workouts. Also, knee specific exercises like sissy squats and a lot of mobility exercises. If it happened without you increasing the miles per week rapidly though I would assume it’s something different. Happy Monday!! #Nostr

Last week was huge for #Bitcoin but let’s not forget there is still a lot of education left to do! Spent my free time last week placing nostr:npub18kpw3akvdsyk239lx0jgwksr74sq4nlha3r8u9g2rnrhztfpfhysy469c4 signs around town.

We have to use bitcoin going mainstream as an opportunity to explain to people why bitcoin isn’t what mainstream culture tries to make it out to be!

My feed is mostly users I follow so those profiles are already cached, but if you follow a lot of hashtags then you might be seeing a lot of notes from users you don't follow. Same with quoted or reposted notes > those notes might appear in your feed and the zap ⚡️ icon might not until the note is opened

Got it, I don’t follow any hashtags since I opened this account a few days ago. I switched from another one but I used to use Primal on that one. Was just trying Damus because of the Alby connectivity.

Somehow I’ve had a better experience with the zapping feature in Primal but I’ll wait a bit to see if the caching fixes these things.

Also, Primal can’t be used with an external primal wallet at all? Not too comfortable with depending on their wallet tbh

Damus has not cached that user's profile which contains the Lightning address to be zapped.

The zap ⚡️ icon appears when Damus is aware that the user can be zapped (ie, once that user profile has been fetched)

So are you saying I need to wait while scrolling until a user’s profile has been cached? How long does it stay in the cache then?

I so want to love #Nostr and its clients but I keep finding small issues that frustrate me…

Why does the zap feature not show up in Damus until I’ve clicked on the note? Can’t I zap directly from the feed?

Does the little lightning icon only show when someone else has zapped that note? How do I zap it if I’m the first one zapping it?

I feel like these things should not be happening
