I had some chats about my dream of setting up biogas to power btc Miners, which heat a greenhouse. Hard to scale to meaningful size.
Dave Ramsey taught me a lot about money—like how to avoid debt, stay out of car loans etc. For that, I’m grateful. His principles of living within your means and staying disciplined have served me well.
But when it came to Bitcoin, I’m glad I didn’t listen. Dave says Bitcoin is too risky, too volatile, and not a real investment. But here’s what I learned: Bitcoin taught me what money really is. It showed me the importance of hard, scarce assets in a world of endless printing. It made me think generationally, beyond just paying off debt. And it taught me that sometimes, playing it "safe" is actually the riskiest thing you can do.
I respect Dave, but I’m glad I didn’t follow all of his advice—especially when it comes to Bitcoin.
