Today is the anniversary of what I remember as the hardest day of hiking that we spent on the #AppalachianTrail. It was our second day in the White Mountains of New Hampshire and we climbed three 4K foot peaks, Wolf, South Kinsman and North Kinsman. It took 12.5 hours to go 16 miles. One of my granddaughters has been watching the Tour de France every summer since she was this old (note the shirt). She's in high school now and has been to the race in person twice.
