With kids I would start them off with a Minibits wallet because of how simple it is. If they're older they'd usually have access to CashApp, so I'd just teach them to hold there.

At work there's a new machine that no one knows how to use. They had the opportunity to teach people. I've been up there twice myself and so has a co worker I work with- about two months ago. We should have been training on this consistently since.
Now a day before everything officially goes live they want us to pick up at much as we can to be ready to run the machine tomorrow.

The docks are there to help with expansion for features like that. More USB A and C ports, Ethernet ports, HDMI and maybe some with Display Port. Some will also add a M.2 slot for more storage.
