Building lots of things with andotherstuff.org including divine.video and nos.social.

Yes. I think we should have a hackathon for #nostrica. Maybe have the bitcoin jungle space for a few days after the conference for hacking?

Looks interesting, but it’s got is a bit of an abandoned project feel unfortunately. I guess it is saying something that in nostr, a month of no updates feels old and abandoned.

I think it’s inevitable that some clients will publish markdown.

I think we need both follow lists (light groups) and blocklists.

I think better visibility in to relays and how to choose them and connect and what they provide and who runs them is a good idea.

I follow 4.8k people on twitter and it’s no problem. I regularly unfollow and curate the list.

I had some amazing guacamole by the pool in Playa del Carmen.

How do you post images in nostr. Can you with damus?

I replied to @snowden without even knowing it was him. note12ecc2le77vuzel0znqkmlcqrld7dec8x700vjltdsssx9ytga6gqgeqs0j

Interesting. How do I inline link to messages and people in Damus?

The control that google and apple have through AppStore means that they won’t approve an app that does user generated content / social media unless the app creator has a content policy with reporting and block/ban system for content.

I was talking to the folks at https://twitter.com/EfectoCocuyo who are a Venezuelan news outlet that’s been blocked by the government… they’re always looking for new ways to publish, maybe we should experiment with Nostr.

There was a mass shooting that killed 10 in LA and police killed an environmental activist in Atlanta causing mass protest. Yet I see nothing about either in twitter. Google news has it. But my old twitter would have been full of it. Today. Silence.

It’d be interesting if nostr clients implemented scoped conversion where you only see if you’ve got a mutual follow with the person mentioned at the start of the message. What would an updated way of doing that look like.
