It got waaaay better! Btw, how did you lose access to your first account?

And another question, would you ne interested in a free verification seal here? I’m just messing around trying to learn more about Nostr and relays and created the @bitcoiners.club seal yesterday :)

Alright… I’m a newbie but I would love to know who here would consider opening the first ⚡️ channel with me? 🤓

Soooo, are you all logged in with multiple apps like Damus and Primal at the same time? Or you just pick one?

Is everyone else running Nostr Relays? Do you know how to customize the Relay URL? (Fairly new to this)

Where should you be this November?

The answer is EL SALVADOR, at the ADOPTING BITCOIN 🌋⚡️

Extra tip: meet the nostr:npub17cyatz6z2dzcw6xehtcm9z45m76lde5smxdmyasvs00r4pqv863qrs4ml3 team there too :)

My superpower is I can see the future.

It’s made me a millionaire multiple times through entrepreneurship (I bootstrapped a game business when Facebook opened up the API back in ~2007/2008), and then later through investing in Bitcoin early.

My superpower also helped me raise 9 figures for nearly 100 businesses over the traders and saved my friends from losing tens of millions of dollars (maybe hundreds?).

I JUST realized today that I haven’t been in control of my powers for my whole life.

Seeing the future can also be a bane.

I was trying to CHANGE the negative future outcomes that I saw coming - but my superpower is SEEING the future not CHANGING the future.

I was constantly trying to correct behaviors & thought patterns, thinking that I could change things to avoid negative future outcomes.

While I have definitely come in at the right time for people in my life and have 100% changed their future, this takes a major toll on me.

Something simple like my daughter going over her screen time by an hour could put me into an anxiety state where I am envisioning the negative consequences of her continued overuse of screens years in the future … causing me to try to prevent a negative future from happening in the present, which usually leads to arguments because normal people don’t think like this.

Worrying is my cryptonite.

I am now going to focus on finding the tools to help me deal with changing the future in a way that doesn’t send me into worry and anxiety over negative future outcomes that don’t exist yet.

Does anyone else have this super power, and have you discovered a way to interface with normies in a way that allows you to have an impact on the future without harming the present?

You are not alone. Seeing it, and not being able to change the future for others outside your inner circle is a bummer. Most people are blind, and want to stay blind :/

nostr:npub107ru69ty2jtnxp7vlqsyze35hylv8ngf4wjedggs9kf6juphw4ksq9zpem just looked me straight in the eye and said “dad, if there’s an infinite supply of fiat currency and a finite supply of 21M #bitcoin , why is anyone surprised the fiat price of bitcoin is pumping? Isn’t it obvious?”

So young, but so wise…

Lol 😂 - I bet he told you to meet me at Madeira soon xD

One of these two will be leaving inside the citadel walls, can you guess who? :D

Made this over the past days, took quite some time, but I think it is worth it :) What do you think?

You guys can’t even imagine how much all of your support means for me 💜 let me take you on the journey of the last 4 months which led to the #nostdocumentary 👇🏼

In March 2023 I traveled to Nostrica after being on Nostr for a couple of months. My initial goal was to film as much as I can while learning more about the ethos.

There I had the opportunity to meet amazing people and talk with them about why NOSTR might be solving many of the issues we currently face with centralized social media companies.

Arriving home I had more than 20h of video footage and interviews to screen. The screening and categorising alone took me approx. 2 weeks. After that I started crafting the storyline.

The video is tailored for a mainstream audience that is probably hearing about this new protocol for the first time. Within our space, there are a lot of things we understand, like (private/public keys), but I want the average Joe also to understand this.

Therefore I made a couple of decisions while editing and choosing how to present NOSTR. I believe that to fully understand the significance of this technology, one first needs to understand what's wrong with social media. Although documentaries like the social dilemma or the current trend of dopamine detoxes showcase that the public knows this, there needed to be a video focusing on the technical aspects.

NOSTR is a technical innovation; therefore, I chose to start at the very beginning and slowly take the viewer's hands for them to understand how we got to the point where we are.

Initially, this part was way longer until last week. 3 days before publishing the documentary i restructured a bunch of the video after some friends watching it told me that it got too complicated.

Some people might wonder why I chose only to introduce nostr at the 15-minute mark. With this storytelling, my main focus is on people understanding nostr. When you're still watching after 15 minutes, you most likely understand the problem and are keen to see the solution. All of those people have a real interest in understanding nostr. The people who clicked away would've not cared about nostr in the first place.

Then we arrive at the nostr part. During Nostrica, I interviewed many prominent nostr people and had tons of footage. This was probably the most time-intensive part of all of the work. Trying to figure out a storyline that people can relate to. I decided not to focus on all the amazing things happening within nostr (zaps, clients, NIPs, etc.) but make the first impression powerful for newbies.

Having said that, I plan to go to Japan this year to work on a second, more in-depth video about nostr. I need to figure out how to raise funds for that, but the footage will likely still be used. It just didn't fit into this first video.

That's all from my side. I hope all of you enjoy the video and keep sharing it with your friends and families.

As many know, I do this independently and on a donation basis. So I am only able to keep doing that with the support of you. If you find the video valuable, feel free to give value back.

Love - Max

Enjoy Costa Rica!
