Imagine how insane it would be to try to incorporate a retinal eye scanner into the bitcoin network.

That’s why worldcoin is a joke.

You CAN, TECHNICALLY, incorporate any feature into bitcoin - assuming, laughably, the entire network gets on board.

Everything about the way bitcoin works would have to change, and the whole thing breaks.

If it doesn’t work for bitcoin, it doesn’t work.

You can’t turn money into an app.

Are you Jordan Peterson’s chef or something?

Some of tell me what I need to know about Threads

Reminding myself that efficiency is not about doing everything quickly.

Physically writing down tasks is slow, messy, and redundant compared to a digital to do list app. I have to keep a notebook on hand. But it’s improving my efficiency.

I fought against that idea for so long because it seemed inefficient. It’s just slow. Slow is not inefficient.

What about "useRalativeImagePath"?

Sometimes I just watch mempool on my node. It’s fun to was the transactions scroll by.

$2.5 million

Just humming along nicely.

I mean it’s cool I guess that fidelity and blackrock and whoever the hell else are implementing ways for people to “invest” in bitcoin, but

why

would

i

do

that

[when I can self custody and be infinitely more secure, literally]

I’m worried this isn’t legitimizing bitcoin as money, it’s legitimizing bitcoin as crypto. Idk, someone give me a more optimistic take.

tbqh, while I don’t think this is bad, and is good advice that will help people in the end, I can’t help but wince at the similarity between this and Jesus’s words when He says “sell your possessions and give the proceeds to the poor”.

Yes, buy bitcoin, but remember it’s just money and there are significantly more important things.

- a hypocrite who rarely gives to the poor (so note to self, I suppose)

Eh, seems like caring about public opinion is hardwired. Biological. At least, that’s the idea per Jordan Peterson’s lobsters. The opinion of others probably shouldn’t be completely thrown out…

That being said, bad religion, bad education, and bad rulers seek to exploit it as a vulnerability, that’s for sure.

I don’t think I’m all that interested in “getting ahead”.

I’m pretty happy doing what I’m good at, going at my own pace, and enjoying things as hobbies instead of side hustles. I think I’ll stay behind the beat, in the pocket.
