Today's popular culture would cry conspiracy if you told them that Leonardo da Vinci, like all the masters of his time, recognized the true Messiah in John the Baptist.
In his famous painting of the Virgin of the Rocks, in which the infant Jesus gives his blessing to the infant John, who prays to him in return, Leonardo da Vinci does indeed pay trompe l'œil homage to the latter... If Jesus was always an anthropomorphism of the sun, as our exegesis of the texts convinces us, could John be the second stone - pure as a child - in the cosmic sea, of which the Virgin is the face and the angel its heavenly character?

A rock is also a stone (the french translation of « stone »is « pierre », and, in the green language, « pierre »can be heard π R) . With π and R, it's possible to calculate the circumference and area of a circle, as well as the volume of a sphere. Aren't the moon and the sun the two circular lights that illuminate our passage here below? As the alchemists strongly suspect, lunar radiation is the basis of all creation, while solar radiation has the power to fix creation at a certain threshold before destroying it...
Perhaps it was by the grace of the Holy Spirit of Chance that Leonardo da Vinci exposed his color solutions to the nocturnal radiation to give his canvases that special luminosity. In this way, Leonardo da Vinci, a true hermeticist, revealed in the Virgin of the Rocks one of the keys to his art.

The octagonal star is a symbol very dear to the Hermetic tradition, since its rays mark the 8 major dates in the Sun's cycle over the Earth during the course of a year.
In its center it unites two crosses. The first marks the two solstices and the two equinoxes.
The second, called X (" chi " or " khi " in Greek) or St. Andrew's Cross, marks the four great festivals of Celtic tradition. The number 8 is a solar number par excellence, since its spelling is derived from the course that the Sun takes in the sky at a given hour during its cycle.

Since nothing in Hermeticism is truly the fruit of chance, I leave you to ponder the fact that H is the 8th letter of the alphabet, that 17 is the 8th prime number, that the letter Q is the 17th letter of the alphabet, and that Q is the " Qi " or " Chi " of the Asian culture – synonymous with " the Light " of the Hermeticists... Furthermore, the synchronicity between a full moon and a summer solstice is a sign of the times that certainly won't go unnoticed...
