I wouldn’t deem living as a self-sovereign individual in a capitalist society as selfish though.

The most fiat disease of our time is living for ones self.

You cannot have a meaningful or satisfactory life seeking your own pleasure.

Millions upon millions of your ancestors fought through, war, disease, oppression, poverty, rape, natural disaster, slavery, murder, economic hardship, starvation etc… for you to be standing here now.

To throw that sacred gift away on hedonism…
