mountain man, seeking truth, running bitcoin

Spending time with family makes you realize that when compared to your loved ones, even Bitcoin is a Shitcoin.

Happy Thanksgiving!

cuz definitions are important...

Shitcoin: approach, solution, advice, asset etc, that is unsustainable over the long term in achieving it's stated goal.

Shitcoiner: person promoting shitcoins.

Dismissing solutions that attempt to address base layer flaws at higher layers is shitcoin behavior.

Dismissing solutions because you don't like the creators is shitcoin behavior.

People trying to promote the base layer for other use cases(privacy, low value transactions, personal lightning channels et al) are shitcoiners.

The base layer is a shitcoin for anything other than censorship resistant hard money.

Base layer privacy is a shitcoin.

I hope the new president brings down the price of Bitcoin. It's much too expensive.

Well written prose are viruses. They infect the minds of humans who read them. Be a good writer.

If you truly believe in hyperbitcoinization, then you already have enough Bitcoin.

Agreed! There is something beautiful about working on a project that takes centuries to complete. Being a part of a bigger plan, a masterpiece that no one human gets to see from the beginning to the end. It used to be the norm(pyramids, chapels et al), but thanks to Fiat it's the exception.

However, I'm surprised by your views on the timeline of this specific project. I find it hard to imagine the $(as it stands today) lasting another 40 years. The math doesn't seem to work. Can you elaborate more on what's a reasonable timeline for hyperbitcoinization?
