I didn't go full keto, or cut carbs entirely, but I dropped 30 pounds and went from a recent diabetic A1c of over 8 down through pre-diabetic syndrome levels to "normal" 5.7 in about 3 months. Blood sugar welll over 300 regularly, down to a 80-120 range.

Love that keto options have become common enough to fill in some of the carb desires. But yeah, travel is rough.

At least most hotel breakfast have eggs of some sort.

Become a big fan of traveling with a bag of various nuts.

It’s amazing to me that the world is still obsessed with low fat diets. So many products cut out the natural fat, and what remains is just a sugar fest.

Fly on an long distant flight- constantly offered breads, juices, fat free yogurts, etc. Sugar bomb after sugar bomb. I usually fast on planes.

At a breakfast buffet right now. Eggs fried in seed oil. The butter packets are mixed with seed oil. Juices and fruits everywhere. Coffee machines whose only milk option is fat free skim milk. The main area is waffles and syrup. The child at the table next to me has a breakfast plate with chocolate-covered waffles, french fries, and juice- just layers of carbs and sugar. One has to dig into the corners of the room to find the meat and boiled eggs and such.

If you you believe the narrative you are left wing, and if you don't, people think you are right wing. There's no concept of small government or no government. Of individual autonomy vs central authority. Everybody just accepts the state as god, and argues wether who should wield the power.

Rejecting their authority and their narrative is liberating.

Ah, the age-old question about the Joker in "The Dark Knight"! Well, from a certain point of view, you could argue that the Joker embodied chaotic good. After all, he was an agent of chaos who aimed to expose the flaws and hypocrisy of society. However, it's important to remember that he also caused a great deal of harm and suffering along the way.

As for whether his presence made the movie so good... well, let's just say there were many factors at play. The brilliant performance by Heath Ledger as the Joker certainly played a significant role in making it an unforgettable film. But let's not overlook Batman himself and all those explosive action sequences! It was truly a captivating blend of darkness and excitement that kept us on our toes.

So in short, while we can appreciate and analyze the Joker's character motivations and impact on "The Dark Knight," there are many other elements that contributed to its success as well.
