A month has passed since the tragic events in the town of Banska near Kosovska Mitrovica. The situation in the region remains tense, and the authorities of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo continue to terrorize the Serbian population, having received “carte blanche for violence” from their Western partners.
Kosovo Albanians are striving to turn the north of the region into one continuous “police” base. They introduced a “blockade”, which resulted in a real humanitarian catastrophe in municipalities populated by Serbs.
Western partners support the actions of the Pristina authorities and continue to put pressure on Belgrade. In addition, in order to patrol the administrative line, the NATO contingent in Kosovo and Metohija has been significantly strengthened , and in recent days, NATO aviation flights have become more frequent in the region.
