For the first time in X years my mama duck is missing at bedtimes.

Gettin ready to sit down and enjoy my coffer under the big oak tree. Its getting hot now, but under the shade and with a nice breeze its still bearable. I just felt like being outside. Good morning nostrworld! Its time for coffee, and oh how I enjoy my coffee. It energizes me and prepares me for the day. We'll be heading to church this morning, then I have lots of outdoor chores to catch up on. I also need to make sure everything is ready at the bnb cabin since we have midweek guests checking in. Typically we get guests on the weekends, but these folks will be returning guests that visited last month. Been busy all day, but I think I can sit and relax now. I feel better now that we got our beef order placed. Those folks at Hometown Meat Market are awesome! They even accept btc, and are part of the Beef Initiative started by Texas Slim. After we got home from there, we went to have lunch with family, then came home to do some chores around the homestead. All in all, a great day, and I feel content and ready for a relaxing evening. When I see the notes that many of you post on nostr, it gives me hope that there is still alot of good in humanity, and that I'm not alone in trying to live my life as free as possible. They sell locally raised beef that is amazing, and today they are having a meat tasting at their new store. We might place an order for a half cow since we are starting to get low on our supply. Gotta stock the freezer up, cause that's important. If anyone is interested, they offer subscription boxes too.
