I think nostr clients will need to start implementing automatic relay discovery. Managing relays is fun for people who like to tinker but not for the majority of users.

nostr is alive, magic is afoot

I actually wonder though how harmful trust becomes when the custodian has almost no information. We're no longer trusting them to not spy or censor because they can't do those things anymore anyways.

Found this nice video from BTC Sessions that talks some about the privacy benefits as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=riTRD0BdMDI

I could see maybe there being stronger privacy guarantees. Was just reading up a bit and apparently transactions are completely free when done within a mint, so that's cool.

Free nuts if anybody wants some:

Can someone explain to me what Cashu is?

NextDNS is a pretty handy service for this type of thing as well. It's pretty easy to set up and use across all devices too.

I'm not a huge fan. The main feature is coinjoin but it has to be running all day to work properly unless you're stopping after one mix. Doesn't make sense for a mobile app IMO.

What exactly is the concern about zap privacy? We are clearly zapping in public.

Or is this mostly an issue for people who wish to stay anonymous and might accidentally dox themselves through zapping somehow?

I can't be the only person who finds these quote threads that are nested like 30 notes deep obnoxious. Or do they look less annoying outside of Amethyst?

Has anyone discovered any hash tags worth following?

The legal system is a total farce. Hard to think of a more clear case of manslaughter.
