You can at the same time defend permissionless use of bitcoin and claim that spamming the mempool with useless junk is antithetical to the mission of bitcoin.

My point was more of a price momentum argument. Whatever the number is 2x 5x or 10x more interest next cycle it will do so with less liquid supply and be faster and more violent than before.
