What’s the number one tip you’d give someone who’s new to Nostr?

Still waiting for the first ⚡️
Don’t even know if it works 😆
Couldn’t have said it better myself.
The best is yet to come 🧡
Relish the opportunity to be an outsider.
Embrace the label.
Because it’s the outsiders who change the world. And make a real and lasting difference.

It concerns me that if we go into a bitcoin standard, that there won’t be enough bitcoin.
I get that there are 100m sats/BTC but it still feels like we’ll be short.
Thoughts?
Oh so they didn’t have their own token? I must’ve misread.
It seems like new bitcoin apps are being built every single day so it’s only a matter of time.
I just hope people will choose the decentralized platforms vs the easiest ones.
Very bittersweet seeing the price rise again.
I’m nowhere near finished stacking SATS. But then again, I might always have this feeling haha
It existed, it was called OpenBazaar.
Shitcoinery, bad implementation and coming too early killed it.
I feel like many projects failed because they created their own tokens.
The lightning network has allowed people to use bitcoin for these types of applications without creating their own bullshit tokens.
The future is very bright. ⚡️
Idea of the day:
Boxchain 📦
A local warehouse would be set up where people could drop off any (non urgent) packages to be delivered.
Their postage fees would be based on how long they’re willing to wait. Similar to the bitcoin blockchain.
Meanwhile, people who are travelling on the road could stop by and pick up any packages that share the same destination.
They would get paid a fee per package and help cut down on their gas bill for the trip.
They would then drop the packages off at another local warehouse (at the destination) and the recipient would pick it up from there.
As a business owner, the cost of postage is outrageous. This would help cut down on shipping costs, reduce traffic (less semis), and utilize excess capacity in vehicles that would already be on the road.
The Uber of courier essentially.

They usually autoplay Bloomberg Financial or CNBC Finance after watching any bitcoin related shows.
Glad to see we are finally moving away from these propaganda machines.
Bitcoin is Freedom Money.

These have been great - thanks for showcasing this. Bitcoin means so many different things to so many different people.
And 98% of people still think it’s just a volatile investment.
Slip out from under his [+ his ilk's] boot:
Make Their systems of control irrelevant by Decentralizing everything:
Money, Media, Tech, Education, Business

Strongly agree. Peaceful revolution seems to be underway.
We’re building a business network based around golf and bitcoin.
Each Founding member contributes 888,888 SATS and we keep that in cold storage for 5-10 years.
Assuming a significant increase in purchasing power during that timeframe, we want to purchase our own golf course - The Peoples Course.
We have over 50 founders already. If you’d like more info, email 88sats@proton.me!
Or if you’d like to donate 88 SATS to the cause, click the ⚡️!
Peace, love and bitcoin. 🧡

Similar to BISQ. Both parties deposit an equal amount of bitcoin into a wallet held within the app. Once both parties sign off on it, the funds are released.
I’m not entirely sure of the dispute process on BISQ but I wouldn’t imagine it’d be that difficult to get started.
Charge every user a flat rate in SATS for using the platform to help fund that type of structure.
Wallet of Satoshi any good?
I guess I’ll just download every bitcoin wallet known to man.
Gonna need to rent a storage unit for all the private keys holding SATS ⚡️
I could feel that exact phrase coming on. And had a feeling that Odell would actually say it aloud.
He’s a good guy and there’s a reason he’s built such a strong community. Says what we’re all feeling.
