After doing some more tests toggling various relays off and on on both amethyst and nostrgram I don't think it's the relays because no matter what relays I use my notifications get blown up in nostrgram but not amethyst. Perhaps #[4] blocked the hell thread or just has some different criteria for showing notifications?

Depends on what relays you are using as well. I only have three high quality relays on amethyst and I didn't see anything. On nostrgram, where I just have their default relays on my notifications were blown up

A simple delete, restart, adn reinstall didn't work. Will try and dig in to the file manager later and see if I can find any lingering residual files. Thanks for the tips.
