I decided to test out Nostrgram's bulk zap feature. Since Lyn Alden's recent post about Elon really seemed to make some waves and got more engagement than any other single note I've seen on nostr it seemed like the perfect target. So I did a bulk zap of 5 sats to everyone who replyed to the note. 433 pubkeys. Using #[1]. As I type this it's been cranking away for about 10 minutes and still has a ways to go... Got one error 'i is undefined' had to click ok and the zapping is now continuing.... got pulled away for a couple hours. When I came back my laptop was asleep. When I woke it up, nostrgram was up on the main feed, no zapping in progress. zaplife.lol shows that I have 94 zaps in the last 4 hours. Hmmm... so I don't know if it stopped zapping when the computer went to sleep or if it errored out in some other way. Nostrgram has seemed pretty slow/buggy for me lately so that might be related as well. In any case, the experiments must continue. Thanks to #[0] and #[1] for making cool stuff for me to play with.
Good to know it's not just me, which means it will probably get fixed soon.
I'm confused about wallet connect. I set it up with alby on amethyst about a week ago. I've been happily zapping away ever since. It appears to work. The zap count goes up on a note after zapping. But when I open alby I don't see any record of an outgoing transaction. What's going on here? Is it supposed to be like that?
During today's zapathon I was wrangling 2 under 5 kids to go grocery shopping. So I didn't get quite as many zaps in as I hoped but I did the best I could under the circumstances. Zap on my nostriches. #plebchain #plebdadlife #zapathon
