#China can attack us only if we supply it with money and technology. Let’s stop doing that.

We can safely ignore threats from #trade-surplus countries like #China. What are they going to do? Not trade with us?

The #WorldTradeOrganization has failed, and we should just ignore it. It is so irrelevant that it’s not even worth the effort to withdraw from it.

We can no longer run large and persistent #trade deficits, especially with regimes, such as #China’s, that consider us to be an enemy.

It is now time for us to aggressively support manufacturing in our country, doing to #China what China did to us.

Almost every dangerous trend evident before #WorldWar1 and #WorldWar2 has a parallel trend seen today.

Showing fear of escalation only encourages aggressors to escalate. #JoeBiden showed such fear in early 2022, and #VladimirPutin then invaded #Ukraine.

You cannot “manage” an aggressor by showing fear.

Once you allow yourself to be intimidated by an aggressor’s threats to use #nuclearweapons, you start an especially dangerous chain of events. You either have to confront at a later date or surrender everything. There’s no appeasing a militant brandishing a nuke.

As goes #Taiwan, so goes the Free World.

Sign of the times? Lydia and I are on Ontario 401 west of Kingston. We have driven on this road dozens and dozens of times, and we have never seen a #Canadian army convoy. We just saw one. #Canada

The way to stop #China is to bring down its partner, #Russia. Yes, that would be dangerous, but to say something is dangerous is no longer a meaningful objection. Everything is dangerous, and that shows how perilous the world has become.
