Just playing around with mapstr.xyz and it's pretty powerful in some ways... I just randomly searched Bangui, Central African Republic and found a store which accepts BTC. The data from Open Street Maps really is pretty 😎

If you tag it as accepting BTC in open street maps it will show up in btc.org/map and mapstr.xyz which pull from that data. The later allow people to also find businesses which accept btc. If you haven't already:)

I'm guessing that the etf owners will not go to spot market but instead buy straight from the miners who they are probabaly shareholders of. Or I've heard there is something called an OTC trade that they may do but tbh I'm not exactly sure what that is. Maybe direct from exchange like Coinbase but in either case they avoid the spot market.
