Amethyst shows a check mark on myself and everybody I follow. Wasn't sure if that was a verification mark or just to show I followed. Seems like I've seen a lot of people I follow with checks asking about verification, so had me slightly confused.

I guess I could have used my own domain and done it.

I assume I can switch to doing it that way in the future if I decide to stick with nostr long term?

NIP-05 verification also from my understanding. I'm still unsure if I did that correctly or not. 🤷🏻‍♂️

I do also understand your point tho. The Fediverse has a lot of bots crossposting from Twitter accounts and it can get a bit annoying. The only bot I willing follow is Snowden.

I'm more curious if crossposting between Nostr and the Fediverse is possible.
