In my experience, the key to find peace and love in life is to realize that you are not God. I would submit that war, violence, lies, injustice, and all other evil is the result of behavior that rejects a higher power. Without an acceptance of my own human frailty, I would be a self-centered and ultimately miserable soul and spread my misery to those around me. My prayer is for the humility to know that I am not God.
