Hola! You'll have to check out the whole area Dominical - Playa Hermosa - Uvita - Ojochal - Tinamaste

Personally lived in the lagunas in dominical - rad.

I like playa hermosa for sunsets, so it's nice living close to that as well.

Uvita is convenient.

Ojochal is too far from the waves i like, but it has a cool community of expats and some bitcoin friendly places.

Tinamaste is pretty hippy, but beautfiul up there. Will be quite wet in the rainy season in all spots. Usually sunny in the mornings during rainy season though June- Mid november ish. October is the heaviest.

Tons of cool places to live in the hills with awesome views, but I don't have specific recommenedations or homie hookups (yet).

HOT TIP:

Orange pill the local barber..

Hub for the whole community.

Julian is the local therapist, advisor, coach, mentor, barber, etc. for the whole town! 💈

Cool story - I was not ** the one who gave him his first bitcoin.

Some other psychopath was running around here and gave him $225 in Bitcoin for a haircut using the nostr:npub13ljnkd633c7maxatymv3y2fqq8vt3qk7j3tt0vytv90eztwgha9qmfcfhw nostr:npub1andrewygazdj6k05g3u6nu6vaerhlxhctep0nml94ffh9qqntw9strrxaw 🧡

Which made my "job" easy. I showed him how to move between fiat and bitcoin if needed using the nostr:npub14f26g7dddy6dpltc70da3pg4e5w2p4apzzqjuugnsr2ema6e3y6s2xv7lu app

Now he has a "Bitcoin acceptado aqui" sign for the rest of the town to see 🤙

What's a strong belief you held on this date last year, that you now look back and laugh at?

I'll go first:

2023:

"Fruit & honey are healthy. Strict #Carnivore people are too extreme; #AnimalBased folks who promote lots of meat AND fruit have found the pinnacle of human nutrition."

2024:

Welp, the "crazy carnivores" were right. Fruit & honey are indeed a negative for your body; it all just turns into sugar in your gut (plus some bonus indigestable fiber in fruit's case). If optimal health is your goal, 100% animal products and ZERO carbohydrates is the true bottom of the rabbit hole. Some folks can tolerate certain carbs & sugars better than others, but those who promote these things as HEALTHY are either under-researched, or rationalizing their own individual sugar addictions via mental gymnastics on the public stage.

I give the bulk of the credit for this knowledge upgrade to @anthony_chaffee. To anyone who's in line with 2023 Ben above, I dare you to take the deep dive into the Plant Free MD podcast, and not come out the other side with your mind blown and your refrigerator void of all vegetables AND fruit.

2025 : There's no truth in the diet wars. I will eat what's locally in season. Meat is always in season. Eating intuitively is the way. Real food only
